Three-digit number in the file name of a DDS-CAD model. The code determines the function of the model and regulates the internal structure of the project.
Within the interval 000-999 number ranges are reserved for various purposes. DDS-CAD assigns specific tasks to the model using the code and also provides the required user interface with the right functions.
| Number range | Function of the model |
|---|---|
| 000…099 | For modelling storeys in each discipline. The user interface contains specific functions of each discipline and the building model so you can create a building with up to 100 storeys. |
| 100…498 | For creating specific detail and miscellaneous drawings. You can only use the specific function of the selected discipline. |
| 499 | For the consolidation of all storeys of the building model. |
| 500…899 | The number range only has a meaning in electrical and is used for the distribution board documentation. In each model you can display the internal layout of a distribution board. The user interface includes functions to manage and structure different sheets. |
| 900…999 | For creating diagrams of all kinds (e.g. string diagram, system diagram, etc.). You can use diagram symbols of all disciplines in a single user interface and combine them together. |
