Example

Suppose you want to insert an object of this category into a horizontal pipeline.

The supply and return lines must be parallel to each other at the installation position.

Select: Pipe Network Armatures Hydraulic Switch Heating/Cooling
The cursor appears as a crosshair.

The dialog configures an auxiliary object for defining a subsystem in the heating pipe network. It defines the way according to which the sub-system of connected users is taken into account in the overall system.

The decisive factor is the status in typeType. The definition of the other object parameters is done afterwards.

Type

Setting	Description
Mixing circuit	For heating or cooling circuits with varying temperatures (e.g. underfloor heating).
Parallel heating/cooling circuit with pump	For sub-systems which work with the system temperatures of the heat/cold generator.

Click OK. The dialog is closed. You can configure the object.
