Example

Suppose you have connected a pipe to the floor or ceiling in one of the adjacent storeys. In this case, a storey port is created which passes on the technical and geometric properties. You can continue the pipe in different ways at the storey port.

No function is active.

The Pipework function is still active after a previous operation

Required condition

Workflow

Click on the storey port. The symbol appears as a marked object. A node appears as a filled square in the center.
Start the pipework using a variant.

Click on the node
Call from the context menu
1. Click . The context menu appears.
2. Select: Continue from storey port below
DDScad expects the definition of the height change.

Select an operation:

Continuation in the current storey

Define the height

Relative height / Absolute height

Relative height

Height difference between the connection point and the center axis of the horizontal segment.

Absolute height

Height difference between finished floor and the center axis of the horizontal segment.

You can use different unit of lengths.

Click OK. You can draw the course.
