With distance to line

Example

Suppose that while you are designing a pipe route you encounter a wall or another pipe and want to define a certain distance.

Workflow

  1. Press [D].
    The dialog appears: Distance from Line
  2. Insert the value.
  3. Click OK. The entered value applies as distance until you define a different value.
  1. Press and hold [Ctrl].
  2. Move the pipe to the line. Approach the line from the side at which you want to position the pipework. The line is highlighted in orange.
  3. Additionally, press [D].
    DDS-CAD defines a new fix point at the set distance to the line. You can draw the course.
