Draw parallel pipes

Example

Suppose you have defined a pipe over a longer distance . Along a part of the route you want to define additional pipes .

In this case, you can use the existing pipe as a reference for the automatic generation of additional parallel pipes. In one step you can create a maximum of four parallel pipes along the selected pipe segments. The distances between the pipes are uniform and consistent. The reference pipe determines the nominal size and material.

After completing the function, you can edit the new pipes and connect them to their sub networks.

Workflow

  1. Select the pipe segments that should act as the reference line. ClosedOperations.

  2. Click . The context menu appears.
  3. Select:
Draw parallel pipes The dialog appears: Parallel pipes
  4. At Mediums select the medium of the first parallel pipe. By selecting, an additional option Mediums is made available.
