Example

The course of a ventilation duct is fixed by the position of bends and tees. If you move these components, DDScad automatically moves along the connected segments.

Required conditions

The operation assumes that you know the direction of the ventilation duct. With the option Drawing direction (Arrows) you can choose to turn on or off the direction indicator.

Workflow

  1. Select the object by clicking . A snap appears on the object.

  2. Click on the node. You can move the object along the segment.

    The bend moves on the axis of the previous segment.

    The function can cause a change in direction of adjacent bends.

    tees can be moved over another.

    The function does not cause a change in direction of adjacent bends.
  3. Move the object to the desired position.
  4. Click . DDScad corrects the course. The operation is finished.
