Example

Suppose that an existing ventilation duct collides with a part of the building after a change in the floor plan.

You can get around the obstacle by adding additional segments.

Workflow

Start the function

Select the segment by clicking . In the middle of the segment an open square appears .
Click on the icon of the segment . The context menu appears.

Select: Insert
The segment is split. The cursor moves the end of the new sub segments. The color can be black or red. More

The color of the sub segment symbolizes the status of the bends if you define a new fix point at the current position.

Black

The angle of the bend corresponds to a standard value (15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°).

Red

The angle of at least one bend ( or ) differs from the standard values.
