Velocity level

Set of related settings in which the boundary conditions for dimensioning the sub-string are defined:

Settings for the selected velocity level.

Setting Effect
Tolerated velocity max

Upper limit value for the velocity in sub-strings assigned to this velocity level.
Tolerated velocity min

Lower limit value for the velocity in sub-strings assigned to this velocity level.

Setting Effect
Diameter Smallest permissible nominal diameter for round ventilation ducts assigned to this velocity level.
Width

Smallest permissible width for rectangular ventilation ducts assigned to this velocity level.

Settings for the selected velocity level.

Setting Effect
Diameter Largest permissible nominal diameter for round ventilation ducts in sub-strings assigned to this velocity level.
Width Largest permissible width for rectangular ventilation ducts in sub-circuits assigned to this velocity level.

The value definition for each velocity level can be set in the Duct System: Ventilation dialog on the Options tab.

Table lists all sub-strings of the system.

Clicking on a entry activates the respective velocity level for the configuration of the values.
