Improved working with existing object groups
Version 8 removes several limitations for processing existing object groups.
Copy object groups together with other objects
Until version 7.3 only a single existing object group could be selected and copied. In version 8 this restriction is omitted. You can now select an object group together with other objects and copy them.
Copying objects within an object group
Already version 7.3 an object (that was part of an object group) could be copied and pasted. The copy, however, became an independent object and could not be integrated into the object group. In version 8 you decide whether the copy becomes part of the object group or whether it is inserted as a single object in the model. The copy becomes automatically part of the object group when you place it directly (e.g. by clicking 
). Should it be removed from the group:
- Click
(before inserting). The context menu appears. - Select the function "remove object from group". The object is independent of the group, you can insert it as a single object.
