Electrical - KNX

Until version 7.3, no interaction was possible between DDS-CAD and ETS(Engineering Tool Software ™, a program for planning, commissioning and managing KNX systems, see Hompage). DDS-CAD 8 and ETS 3 can now exchange their data with each other, resulting in the outcome of an integrated planning process. Note to ETS 4... The interface within DDS-CAD has been prepared. Our partner, IT GMBH, is working on the release of the interface for ETS 4. The principle of the data exchange will remain the same between both tools.

Attention! 
For the exchange of data you need additional ETS macros (tools that are not included in a default installation for ETS. For more information, visit the website of the developer).

When you have inserted all the required KNX symbols to the DDS-CAD model, you can export them to ETS. DDS-CAD generates and XML file whose name can be chosen freely. The first processing stage in DDS-CAD is now complete.
