Heat load calculation
With the new changes in the heat load calculation we respond to the extended possibilities of the building model and consider a practical aspect of the building's use.
Consideration of apartments
The temperatures of adjacent rooms are calculated in accordance with the EN 12831 using a specific , in case the rooms belong to different building units (e.g. in case of apartment buildings). DDS-CAD takes this automatically into consideration when you assign the rooms to the respective zones.
Include reduced room temperature
|
By default, the heat load calculation applies the standardized indoor temperatures as defined in the EN 12831. In practice it is common that a lower temperature applies to single rooms ( e.g. bedroom The heating system for bedrooms is dimensioned based on a standard internal temperature of 20°C. In reality, a lower temperature often applies to bedrooms…). This leads to a greater loss of temperature of the adjacent rooms.
To consider these type of situations, you can assign a value for the limited temperature of the room.
The decisive factor in this case: the limited temperature of a room results in a higher transmission heat load of the adjacent rooms. However, for the room at hand nothing changes.
