Suppose you receive a changed floor plan. An existing polygonal room or area gains or loses a part of its surface, which changes the number of corner points and walls.
The polygon editing functions can be enabled or disabled.
If you need to change the geometry of a room, you can enable the polygon editing features. In this case, the connection between two walls (e.g a corner of a room) is displayed as a node and the center point of a wall as a line segment .
When you have finished editing, you should disable the polygon function again to prevent accidental changes.
Close all dialogs.
Select any wall by clicking .
Click . The context menu appears.
Select: AdvancedDisplay contour as Polygon The option changes the status.
The center point of the selected segment is converted into a node and is attached to the cursor. One click inserts a new node, the function remains active. You can insert additional nodes or quit the function with [ESC].
