Zoom and pan (move model)
The zoom (enlarge/reduce model) and pan (move model) functions work as usual in version 8. Additionally, you can also use the following options:
- Standard configuration: pan with left mouse button
- Additional configuration: for mouse without scroll wheel or third mouse button
In version 8, you can select a configuration in which neither a scroll nor a middle mouse button is used. In this case, all zooming and panning functions are taken over by the 
. If you would like to work with this configuration, you must first disable the default mode for the left mouse button. After that, the function for the can be altered, because the interaction between marking and selecting object must be (re)organized as well.
