User interface and general handling

In version 8 a dimension line can be edited and corrected more easily. The image shows a dimension that refers to the marked path (1) and is corrected on two points:

• Angle of the dimension line does not fit to the measured distance
• Position of the dimension line (distance to edge of body)

The actual angle of the dimension line is displayed numerically in a help symbol. To correct this, select the angle symbol by clicking . This way the reference line for correcting the angle becomes visible (2). You can select the end nodes and set them to the desired position. The location of the dimension line will be adjusted directly.

Note:
The symbols of the help functions only appear on the screen, they will not be printed or exported. If they interfere with your work on the model, they can be hidden with the help of layer management.
